This is one of those episode that is a flashback to know more about the character. It is good episode sort of a filler but not since it introduces one of the character's historical background. Which in this case is Daisya.

Another world building episode, well it introduces side exorcist with cool weapons, like how Daisya uses his Innocence like a soccer ball. Then mostly flashbacks slowing things down. Not essential a plot moving episode but hey, its great for the story of the series.
