This episode was ok. It's a remote village mystery plot. They did change up the art to be a tad more de-saturated to give a "old colored movie" vibe. They even change the ED to be a ballad lol. The cuts to Mashiro fighting was pretty funny I'll admit.

This was a serious arc about a village plague, and I felt so bad for Nagumo when I saw his 5 million yen payment turn out to be fake currency.

Eerie, village-based graphics for the psychic mystery. Mashiro confronting the "Psychic of Love" is the peak moment. In this episode i feel like her bluntness is the best weapon against scams.

Episode Context

Coming off Episode 10's lighter cases involving a sneak photographer and a 'Bullet Bride,' Episode 11 pivots to a standalone mystery with a noticeably more suspenseful tone, putting the Nagumo-Mashiro partnership front and center. As the penultimate episode of a 12-episode season, it serves as both a showcase for the duo's evolved dynamic and a narrative bridge building momentum toward the season finale. Expect this installment to set the emotional and thematic stage for whatever Episode 12 has in store.
