EPISODE CONTEXT
Following Episode 8's arrival on Kirisaki Island and the first hints of Jack the Ripper-style murders, Episode 9 tightens the screws by removing any escape route for the team. Sitting at the one-fifth mark of the 45-episode series, this episode launches what appears to be the show's first major multi-episode murder arc.
