There was literally no battle scene this episode, unless you consider 5 seconds of Souma firing a blast of destruction a battle scene. Besides that, this episode did not need any action; the emotional intensity itself was enough to propel it towards a really satisfying ending. Himeko's response to Souma was also very satisfying, and you need to stay till the very end for your heart to heal a little.
