There's a somewhat significant time skip after the events of the previous episode. If you remember the brief appearance of Kanta's master and his son back in Ep 17, this episode introduces his son who is essentially Kanta's fellow disciple. Considering what happened in the previous episode, this one is surprisingly lighthearted. The job Taiko takes on is also similar to the one from the first episode, but the way it concluded is something surprising.
