A grand performance at a legendary venue turns deeply unsettling. Yakumo's past bleeds into his present in haunting fashion, leaving the audience — and the cast — breathless.

The final six minutes may have been the most effective direction. The buildup moment where the feeling of looming disaster is depicted, combined with the exceptional performance together with the unsettling vibes of the OP, so intense.

It is unfortunate that this must end, for if my suspicions are true, then this has been the climax of Yakumo’s story arc, and so we must prepare ourselves for the inevitable depressing and unfortunate resolution, But honestly this is a really beautifully done anime and episode.
