Episode Context

As episode one of twenty-six, this is pure foundation, introducing the augmented reality setting, core characters like Yasako and Fumie, and the existence of the Coil Cyberinvestigation Agency that will drive the series forward. Everything here is setup for the escalating mysteries of Daikoku City's virtual realm that will deepen across the first act. The deliberate pacing and rich world-building established now pay dividends as subsequent episodes begin layering in the show's central conspiracies and emotional stakes.
