Another training arc with Kanao. This time it contained more flashbacks for Shinobu and Kanao. But the flashbacks did not get in the way of the training moments and hilarious moments from Zenitsu and Inosuke. It was light, but delivered with good punchlines that made us laugh!

Kanao's childhood was actually heartbreaking and her parents selling her like that was messed up and the way she has to use a coin just to make a choice makes her quiet personality make sense

Those three little mansion girls beating Tanjiro while he tried to sleep was hilarious and their little celebration after he broke the gourd felt so earned

My stomach dropped watching Kanao's past unfold, especially seeing her as a little girl on that rope. I never really grasped the depth of her trauma until now, and it makes her dependence on the coin feel incredibly tragic, a desperate way to avoid making any personal choice at all after what she went through.

Tanjiro putting that cup on her head instead of splashing her was the sweetest thing and Kanao looked so stunned by it

The mystery behind the Hinokami Kagura has me actually obsessed now because the specific name of his father's technique seems like such a huge deal for the history of the demon slayers, and that demon appearing on the train car at the very end gave me chills and it makes me want to start the next part immediately because the stakes feel high

Hearing Kanae talk about Kanao meeting a boy to open her heart while Tanjiro was winning that game felt like such a perfect moment for them
