Even though it's the season finale, this episode isn't very different from the rest of the series. The resolution falls back on the exact same formula: characters completely shifting their opinion and reputation of Hakuto from an evil villain to someone they deeply admire and desire. However, It stays true to its identity.

The season finale felt more like an introduction to the whole anime itself. I was expecting more.
