Veltol handling classic high school tropes with historical context and raw dominance is brilliant. Shifting from the dark underworld into a lively academy setting provides fantastic pacing, and watching Veltol utterly humiliate a magic bully by casually grabbing an attack barehanded is top-tier satisfaction.

Episode Context

Coming off the Cybermagic City Akihabara arc where Veltol's group uncovered leads on a critical regalia, episode 9 marks the transition into a new undercover phase at Lu Xel Academy, putting the team directly inside enemy territory at the three-quarter mark of the season. It introduces key academy-side characters and political dynamics that feed directly into the 'Akihabara's Three Great Houses' conflict expected in episode 10, positioning these final episodes for escalation.
