What a breathtaking conclusion to the Shinjuku arc! The absolute dominance Veltol displays when he stops holding back and humbles Marcus is incredibly satisfying. The animation peak during the dragon-like evasion transformations elevates this corporate showdown to mythic proportions!

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 12-episode run, Episode 7 deals with the immediate fallout from Episode 6's revelations about the Immortal Furnace, channeling that tension into decisive confrontations between Veltol and Marcus, and Gram and Kinohara. This is the fulcrum episode, everything before it was building context, and everything after rides on its outcomes. It directly sets the stage for Episode 8's shift to Akihabara, where the series pivots toward exploring its cybermagic worldbuilding.
