Having spent their entire lives side by side, Mamoru and Rio have been the closest of friends, and they're both clearly into each other — but neither one has actually said it yet. Then Rio wins a beauty contest, gets scooped up by a big talent agency, and suddenly she's on the fast track to idol stardom. Sounds great on paper, except her rising fame catches the attention of some seriously shady people behind the scenes. When Mamoru catches wind of what's happening, he decides to infiltrate the whole thing himself to try and protect her, without letting Rio know what he's really doing.
