There is almost no story here and it feels like the plot is just an excuse to get to the dark stuff as fast as possible

The voice actress for the redhead actually put in some effort, and you can tell she stood out compared to the guys who barely say anything

That agency is pure evil and they just threw Rio to those men without a second thought

I felt so bad for Rio when she won that beauty contest only for her own agency to turn around and sell her out to those creepy men

PoRo definitely stayed true to their usual look here but those backgrounds are so plain and gray and boring

The clean art style works well for Rio but the story is just a tough watch for anyone who hates seeing a childhood friend romance get destroyed like this

That scene where Mamoru fails to do anything for his childhood friend hit me hard and his uselessness during that final moment was just frustrating to sit through

It was painful seeing Rio win that beauty contest, because it just ended up being the thing that ruined her life and put her in the sights of those awful men

The tags made me expect something way more intense but it actually felt a bit softer than other PoRo stuff despite the non-consensual parts and the cuckold themes

These male characters need to actually talk more because the lack of dialogue makes it impossible to care what happens to them while Rio is suffering through those macabre games

That whole rich elite game setup is twisted and Mamoru joining the staff just to see Rio get claimed by someone else was a very dark way to start the series

Mamoru watching from the sidelines while Rio gets taken was rough and he basically just stood there while his childhood friend lost everything in front of him

I felt so bad for Rio when she got trapped by those guys and seeing her idol career turn into a nightmare like that was a huge gut punch

PoRo always has that specific look to their character designs and the animation felt smooth enough but those gray backgrounds looked pretty empty during the main scenes

The writing feels a bit weird because Rio keeps waking up after these sessions with no memory of what happened, and she never even asks questions. It makes it hard to feel for her when she seems so disconnected from her own situation. Mamoru is also way too quiet for a guy who is supposed to be her childhood friend and protector

It is pretty messed up how they just sell her out like that, and the whole idol industry theme makes it feel even more gross. Mamoru seems like he wants to help but he just feels like a background character while Rio gets treated like a tool. The voice actress definitely carried this one because she actually sounded like she was in distress

the way those men are just trying to make her suffer is pretty dark and the story moves really quick into the heavy stuff

I felt like the scenes started way too fast and there was almost zero build up before everything went south for Rio

that classic PoRo art style is back and the animation looks exactly like you would expect from them
