This episode seemed more serious and emotional than action to me. The twist and Habaki's backstory hit hard. The moment of the Corpse God was also very strong. There wasn't much fun here, but it was very strong.

There's a lot of new characters being introduced and no clear explanation from the last episode. There's a lot of backstories that I think affects the scene in this episode. I think the transition from one scene to another needs to improve to avoid confusions.

After the last episode, I thought they were going to explain the new characters that are being spawned in this anime. But I was wrong. The new characters just keep spawning, and it’s overwhelming. It’s hard to keep up with their names and what they’re doing.
