Episode Context

This is the final episode of D.C.S.S. arriving directly after the emotional peak of Episode 25, where Nemu's deteriorating health and Sakura's departure from Hatsune-Jima brought the season's central tensions to a head. 'The Bells of Happiness' is the payoff for every relationship and supernatural thread the season has developed, resolving the fates of its core cast. As the concluding chapter of the Da Capo Second Season, it sets up nothing further, this is the endpoint, designed to deliver full closure.
