Episode Context

This is the season premiere of D.C.S.S. picking up directly from where Da Capo left off but with a two-year time skip that resets the emotional baseline. It establishes the new normal on Hatsune-Jima before the season introduces new characters and complications in subsequent episodes. Think of it as the calm before the larger narrative forces, both romantic and supernatural, begin pulling Jun'ichi's world in new directions.
