It was a nice way to start the second season. The episode felt more emotional than I expected and it did a good job reminding me why I liked these characters in the first place. It doesn't rush into the drama but you can already tell something important is about to happen.

A warm but mysterious start to the season. Yoshiyuki’s moments with Otome and Yume are charming, while helping Koko prepare the Christmas puppet show brings back their friendship. The strange events around Hatsune Island add an intriguing sense of mystery.
