The episode perfectly balances the comedic and tense scenes. The characters introduced are quirky which also adds the comedic tone of the episode. There's still no info. regarding about why Shido would woo a spirit rather than fighting but his character and attitude is commendable, no wonder he is a perfect fit for the task. The soundtrack are excellent and the use of CG is quite subtle. The fan service isn't over the top in this episode.
