Episode Context

As the series premiere, 'April 10' is pure foundation, introducing the spatial quake phenomenon, the concept of Spirits, and Shido's role in a conflict he's only beginning to understand. Key relationships with Kotori and Tohka are seeded here, both of which become central pillars across the full 12-episode run. Everything that follows in the season builds directly on the premise and character dynamics established in this opener.
