This was a good new character introduction, the pace was fairly okay since it introduces a character. The battle animation was fairly good, it has some CGI but it was hidden and animated well. Welp, another spirit another day for Shido

This episode isn't just about action it also focuses on introducing a new character and setting the stage for future events. The pacing is good, the animation is solid, and there is enough suspense to make you look forward to the next episode.
