Some genuinely mind-blowing moments in this ep. Story keeps getting more interesting, you can finally see what sets it apart from other mecha-anime. A lot of mysteries are revealed, but the pacing stays controlled—no rushing, just solid, just on point.

I can smell something bad is going to happened in the next few episode. Slow pacing, expanding lore and logic, children discovered some new knowledge they weren't being taught in the beginning.

This episode is such a breath of fresh air. I loved seeing the squad reclaim their humanity at Mistilteinn.
