Episode Context

As the first of twenty-four episodes, this premiere exists entirely to lay the emotional and narrative foundation, establishing Hiro's crisis of purpose and his fateful first meeting with Zero Two, the two pillars around which the entire series revolves. No prior context needed; this is your entry point. Episode 2, 'What It Means to Connect,' follows up by diving directly into the mechanics and emotional stakes of the pilot-partner bond that this opener so carefully frames as essential.
