EPISODE REVIEWS
The Moratorium concept is fascinating and the tragedy with Mai's father hits hard. A bit rushed in places but the emotional weight lands. Hei's cold efficiency contrasts nicely with his Li persona.
The idea of cosmology to determine the contractor’s existence is pretty engaging. This episode picks up on the emotional stigma of Mai and her father. While the animation is perky, the flow felt substantial to withhold the mysterious essence of the storytelling.
