The cult setting is creepy and the Shihoko dynamic hints at something deeper in Huang. Amagiri is an unsettling presence. A solid setup episode that makes Huang more interesting than he's been so far.

It brings out the notion of religion to us. The main plot is dominant here. The animation and the sequence of action scenes are pretty engaging. Although it is a buildup episode, I find Huang’s story interesting. All the characters' stories are presented before us in threads.

This episode focuses a lot on Kuno's perseverance in discovering the truth, despite the ambiguous situation and his continued clueless of it. Kudos to him for that.
