This ep is rather lore-heavy explaining a lot of the weird connections between Sooha and the group. The action scenes are also fast paced which makes up for the slower storyline progression in the last few eps.

I started this episode IMMEDIATELY after watching the cliffhanger of the last episode, and it does not disappoint. The fast-paced action, creepy vibes from the "Chris" character, plus Heli is SO MUCH MORE romantic with Sooha and it's soo sweet. It's all chef's kiss.

Relationships become more complex, adding emotional weight.

Episode Context

Episode 7 marks a critical pivot past the season's midpoint, following the group bonding of 'Hunter's Moon: Birthday Party' by introducing conflicts that fracture the unity built over the first half. This is the episode where the narrative stops building comfort and starts dismantling it, testing Sooha's relationships with Heli and his companions under pressure. It directly sets the stage for the deeper mythological revelations expected in 'Old Moon: Vampire Lord,' making it essential connective tissue for the season's back half.
