A tense and brutal opening that immediately raises the stakes. Throws you back into Danganronpa’s signature blend of tension, betrayal, and despair. It efficiently reintroduces the world and characters while kicking off a new killing game with fresh twists.

Third time's the charm indeed! I missed seeing my boi Naegi Makoto, but at what cost :')) The anime exudes a more darker and stronger tension around the storyline, which makes watching it instead of shooting correct answers with my bullets (iykyk) almost as intense as playing the game. Can't wait to see how this plays out!

Not a lot happened in the first episode, but it still did a nice job introducing the setting for the series. The scene near the end was definitely my favorite though. It set the atmosphere and suspense up for this arc really well.
