If you're not taking into account the universe where this anime is happening, this episode is a lackluster and basting in the normalcy of high school youth. However, since this is within the Danganronpa universe, it's better to relish the mundane because veterans of the game know it will end. The fan service moments were a bit off for me, but you can't have Danganronpa without it.
