This anime episode made me want to review animes. There have been a lot of gut-wrenching and tragic stories in anime, but EP 7 of Dandadan is one of the greatest ones because it made me care about a villain that we won't even spend a long time with. 10/10, a masterpiece

This episode is a masterclass in shifting perspective. We were terrified of the Acrobatic Silky at first, but this episode expertly humanizes her without erasing her "creepiness." Keep the tissues near. This episode balances the absurdity with a level of "preciousness".

the way they blend that psychedelic art style with high-octane combat is just insane. It’s chaotic, loud, and weirdly emotional. it really sold me the idea of the anime on that episode

A fun wrapup to this season - but juxtaposing such big battles with slice of life felt a little out of whack for me, so the very last scene didn't quite land as hard as I'd like - although I could feel like it was supposed to.

This episode really hits emotionally. It caught off guard and feels totally unexpected from a goofy, fun anime. It’s amazing how an 8-minute, dialogue-less story can stir such strong emotions, especially with the perfect music that captures the essence of the story.

This episode can make grown man cry. How it manages to tell a tear-jerking story while not being to overly dramatic is a testament to the attention to detail and story-telling prowess the people behind this episode has. This is an episode for the books!

Character dynamics really start to shine here, especially how the leads react to everything surreal thrown at them.
