Episode Context

As episode 1 of 12, this is the series' foundation, introducing the central duo, their ideological rivalry, and the supernatural world that will consume their lives. Everything here is setup: the comedic dynamic, the escalating stakes, and the first hints of forces beyond either character's expectations. Episode 2, 'That's a Space Alien, Ain't It?!', picks up directly from the consequences set in motion here, meaning this premiere functions as the lit fuse for the entire season.
