I actually felt bad for Reifon when Rhodes called him a trash adventurer but the animation was so stiff that I could barely tell if he was even supposed to look sad

I really want to like this because the idea of a sage regressing to save his friends from Pandora's Box is cool, but this five minute format is killing the vibe. We barely got to the cave before the credits started rolling. It feels like I'm watching a trailer instead of a real episode and I might just go read the manga.

Dalzen is already onto Riddle, and it makes the whole mission feel way more tense than just hunting some bandits in a cave.

Two minutes of actual content and three minutes of credits is crazy and it makes it impossible to care about the bandit mission or whatever else is happening

This felt like a slideshow of the manga panels and seeing the elder sage shadow behind Riddle was the only part that looked remotely decent
