📖 SYNOPSIS

"Dai-chan, Daisuki" tells the story of Mai and her deaf older brother, Dai-Chan. Despite being older, Dai-Chan relies on Mai, always smiling and asking her to hold him. Their lives are disrupted when Mai's elementary school and Dai-Chan's handicapped school begin to interact. Mai's classmates cruelly mock Dai-Chan, drawing a caricature of him, deeply hurting Mai. Adding to their struggles, their mother falls ill, leading to the potential separation of Dai-Chan and Mai, as he may need to enter an orphanage. Driven by her love for her brother, Mai fights to keep him with her, highlighting themes of family love, the strength of bonds, and the importance of human connection. The film explores the warm heart within us all and the moments we must embrace with honest feeling.
