Synopsis
Three nights of blood-red moons, and suddenly the world isn't what it used to be. Ghosts, gods, and things that don't have names yet are just... around now, and humanity has to figure out whether to cower or fight back. Su Bai is a young guy caught in the middle of this shift, and when he stumbles into his own supernatural abilities, the door to a much stranger and more dangerous reality swings wide open. The early episodes set up this fascinating tension between a modern world trying to function normally and the mythological chaos bleeding into it. There's a layered power system involving humans interacting with supernatural beings that actually feels thought out rather than thrown together, and Su Bai's journey has real moral weight as he figures out who to trust and what kind of person he wants to be in this new era. If you liked the urban supernatural vibe of Under One Person or the spirit-world clashes in Rakshasa Street, this ONA from Suoyi Technology hits a similar sweet spot — modern setting, mythology woven in, action sequences that carry stakes. It also shares some DNA with The Silver Guardian in how it builds out its world from a web novel source. The tone stays action-packed but gives enough breathing room for the world-building to actually land. Worth picking up if you're into Chinese animation that takes its lore seriously.
