Episode Context

Episode 22 opens the Mythos Arc, a significant narrative escalation following 'The Fossils of Evil,' which closed out a more grounded threat involving robotic dinosaurs. 'Attack of the Gods' resets the playing field entirely, introducing deity-like antagonists whose connection to the global disasters drives the central mystery forward. It feeds directly into 'Mythology Arises,' where the team moves from investigation to confrontation.
