Wraps the story with a warm festival vibe and emotional payoff. The episode slows down to highlight character bonds, quiet feelings, and the charm that carried the whole series. A soft, heartfelt finale that keeps its cozy tone until the end.

A very good final episode. The pacing is perfect, and the animation is also very good. The background music is very touching, in harmony with the scenes shown. There is significant character development. In my opinion, this is the best episode of this anime.

This episode brings more sweet and funny moments at the arcade as the characters enjoy their time together. Their friendship feels stronger, making the episode warm and entertaining. I'll give 10/10.

Episode Context

As the twelfth and final episode, this follows directly from Episode 11's trip to Renji's grandmother's home, which deepened the personal and familial stakes for both leads. The season has steadily built from lighthearted arcade encounters toward genuine emotional intimacy, and this conclusion serves as the payoff for that slow-burn trajectory. Everything the series has layered, cultural differences, communication barriers, quiet affection, converges here as Lily and Renji confront what their relationship truly means.
