It is my first time watching an anime show with an almost all-female cast, and I am so glad I chose Cross Ange. This series is an absolute 10 out of 10. It has everything you could ask for, including fast plot progression, great fanservice, strong emotional moments, and insane plot twists.
An action-packed finale, I was expecting something like a Synchronity Chain, a gameplay mechanic in the sequel of the first Ar Tonelico game, though I admit that was probably a bit of a stretch as a reference for this anime 😅. The way that the studio handled the censorship was definitely odd, and I wish they had handled it the same way on Code Geass. That said, the numerous Gundam references were enjoyable to spot and added an extra layer of fun. While the story never reaches the heights of Code Geass or the classic Gundam series, it remains entertaining in its own right, and the ending delivers a satisfying conclusion.
100/10 anime. It has a really good plot. I loved the conclusion of the series. It may be a single season but it is finished! I get to have the peace of mind, all questions answered. I highly recommend this one specially if you love mecha, politics, and moral dilemma moments!
