EPISODE REVIEWS

Talk about absolute worst case scenarios, everything that could possibly go sideways for our protagonist hit all at once. The emotional weight and sacrifices in this one were brutal, but from a narrative standpoint, it is a fantastic move. Raising the stakes this high lays the perfect groundwork for what will hopefully be a massive, deeply satisfying payoff down the line.

This was an intense and chaotic episode where nearly everything that could go wrong ended up going wrong. At times, it even felt as though the characters opposing Embryo had been deliberately handicapped, as some of their decisions came across as unusually careless. The episode also suffers from a few brief moments of inconsistent artwork, but the excellent soundtrack more than compensates by heightening the tension and making every major scene feel far more immersive.

What a dramatic way to end an episode! I still have a lot of questions that needs to be answered, and now I have more after this one! Goosebumps every where! I sure hop the next episode will have more revealing things!
