EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the field-trip chaos of the 'USA Trip' in episode 11, this episode pulls the action back to Cromartie High's familiar hallways and refocuses on the cast's day-to-day absurdity. At the midpoint of the 26-episode run, the series is in full command of its comedic voice, using standalone vignettes rather than building toward a traditional arc. 'Road Safety' bridges into episode 13, 'Joshua Tree,' continuing the pattern of escalating character eccentricity with Mechazawa as the throughline.
