Episode Context

Sandwiched between 'Our Trip to Hawaii' and 'Body Swap,' this episode continues the specials' tradition of dropping the Shin-chan cast into high-concept, standalone scenarios that have no bearing on continuity. It follows the trend of imaginative premise episodes, shifting from the family vacation format of the preceding special into pure fairy tale parody. The next episode, 'Body Swap,' maintains this creative momentum with another outlandish what-if premise.
