EPISODE CONTEXT
Sandwiched between the slice-of-life 'Buying Lucky Bags' (Episode 15) and the similarly grounded 'Going Out For Hanami' (Episode 17), 'Crayon Wars' represents the specials' signature genre-hopping format — pivoting from everyday Nohara family antics into an elaborate parody episode before snapping back to normalcy.
