Episode Context

As the sole main entry of Chou Kaguya-hime!, this episode carries the full weight of world-building, character establishment, and tonal setup in a single feature-length runtime. It introduces Iroha and Kaguya's core dynamic and the competitive landscape of Tsukuyomi while planting early seeds of a lunar threat that looms beyond the idol stage. The narrative thread continues in the companion special ray Chou Kaguya-hime! Version, which extends the musical and character journey established here.
