If the plan was to make a strong impression on first episode then the anime have achieved it. The environment art looked like a homage to old american comics. The people in the world is an assortment of aliens, magic girl, yokai and super humans. The initial plot is quite interesting, a Bureau for super humans who needed help 🤔 and the way the story is told felt like I'm watching Baccano.
If you want a superhero anime that’s more influenced by Japanese heroes, this is a great pick. It features parodies and references to several superheroes, which makes it really fun to watch. The anime itself also has great animation and a strong visual style. The story uses a non-linear narrative with two different timelines, which can be a bit confusing at first, but it keeps you curious about how everything connects Overall, it was a great premiere, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the story develops.
