The plot shifts toward a mystery involving a second Automata, leading the characters into a dark, underground facility. Character designs for the new threats are more jagged and menacing. The visuals use high-contrast lighting, with deep shadows and neon-violet glows from the "Initial-Y" cores. The soundtrack becomes more suspenseful and atmospheric.Specific Moment: Finding the "Core" in the dark basement, where the rhythmic humming of the machinery creates an eerie sense of dread.
This episode had a LOT of filler. While it moves the plot along, there's so much unnecessary fanservice, as well as strange conversations that characters who are children should not be having. While it's not skippable for first-time watchers because of the important aspects, it shouldn't be watched if you get uncomfortable easily.
I love how amazingly they get along together, with both geniuses and both robots. But still, a conflict is about to arise between another and the awesome plot twist. Amazingly, you want to watch it all in one sitting. It's really highly recommended to watch.
