EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting roughly one-third into the thirteen-episode run, Episode 4 builds on the character introductions and relationship groundwork laid in the first three episodes, now confident enough to let its ensemble bounce off each other in increasingly elaborate ways. The evolving dynamic between Niikura and Nagumo gets additional texture here, while new comedic setups—particularly around Makabe—plant seeds for recurring gags in later episodes. This is the point where the show's interconnected web of characters starts paying real dividends.
