So, who is this new character? Anyway, the father- daughter scenes are so emotional. I can sense Mei’s character development starting here. She’s right... she is more mature now. I guess we all need a Yuzu in our lives to give us strength, right? Right!

Citrus Episode 6 shifts the tone toward self-reflection and the pain of realization. The plot follows Yuzu as she struggles to define her "love" for Mei—whether it is sisterly affection or something more—while Mei continues to push her away. Character designs remain expressive, using subtle changes in Mei's posture to show her growing exhaustion with her grandfather’s expectations. The visuals are stunning, especially the use of light and shadow in the Aihara household at night, which creates a somber, intimate atmosphere. The soundtrack introduces more orchestral elements, providing a grand yet tragic feel to the unfolding drama. A specific moment occurs when Yuzu looks at the distance between their beds; that small physical gap serves as a powerful metaphor for their emotional disconnect

Matsuri is the villain we love to hate, her calculated chaos pushes Yuzu and Mei to the brink, but seeing Yuzu finally stand her ground against the blackmail is so satisfying. The emotional weight of the family bond vs. Matsuri's disbelief makes this a standout episode.
