Well... It is chaotic but spicy! I'm open minded about how love forms between two people. Mei seems to hate the world, so I’m eager to see how Yuzu helps her feel free and embrace who she really is. Can’t wait for the character development!

Citrus Episode 2 expertly deepens the psychological tension between the new stepsisters. The plot shifts from initial shock to a slow-burning curiosity, as Yuzu attempts to navigate the confusing boundaries of her new family. Character designs remain a strong point, with subtle facial expressions—particularly Mei’s fleeting moments of vulnerability—adding layers to her icy persona.
The visuals utilize a "dreamy" aesthetic during internal reflections, contrasting with the sharp, clinical look of the school's interior. The soundtrack evolves here, introducing more melancholic strings that underscore the theme of loneliness and the search for connection.
A specific moment that stands out is when Yuzu tries to cheer Mei up by cooking for her, only to be met with a cold rejection that highlight

Episode 2 is full of tension. Yuzu finds it hard to understand Mei's actions, especially since they are now living together under the same roof. The Internal conflict and the turmoil of first love are palpable. An emotional setup for evendeeper drama.

Okay so ep.2 really pulls you in deeper! The dynamic between the two leads gets way more interesting and you start to genuinely care about where things are going. The emotional tension feels real, not forced. If ep.1 got you curious, this one gets you invested.
