This is Satella's redemption episode, and it's earned. Her backstory isn't just filler it explains why she's so obsessed with revenge, and why she's so broken when she learns her sister is still alive. The moment she summons Licht is a cathartic release of all that guilt and pain. Azmaria stepping up is also a great character beat.
