This episode showed a bit of Chii's character development, as well as Hideki's financial struggles. Even so, Hideki never gives up on trying to uncover the truth about Chii's origins, which keeps the story engaging.
Vivir en Tokyo o en las grandes ciudades si que es difícil, vemos a Hideki en busca de trabajo mientras estudia para entrar a una buena universidad en la ciudad. Pero encontrar trabajo siempre es difícil en toda parte del mundo, pero eso no detendrá a Hideki para cumplir su sueño de vivir bien con Chii. En mi opinión, que divertido sería vivir en una granja al sur de Japón.
In this episode, we see Hideki trying to start building his new life: teaching Chii to speak, attending his university entrance exam preparation classes, and then looking for a job. As someone who grew up in the countryside, this new, more technologically advanced life, full of expenses, is a big challenge, and the small bureaucratic hurdles become obstacles to overcome. It's not an episode with major plot twists, but that doesn't bother me; it doesn't feel stagnant. We gradually build a story, and honestly, sometimes it's refreshing to watch an anime that doesn't overstimulate you every second with lights and explosions.
