With Rakudai Kishi going straight for a tournament arc after the first 3 episodes, stakes get suddenly high and tense as the first matches developed, especially for Ikki, who has to face against Kirihara. With a past incident connecting those two, this episode shows really well how the past shaped Ikki and continues to affect his present while delivering a very good fight.

Akhirnya sang MC mengikuti turnamen resmi di sekolah nya dimana lawan pertama nya adalah yg pernah menantang nya dulu. Di episode ini dijelaskan sedikit masa lalu sang MC dan motivasi nya di sekolah ini. Jujur disini sang MC mengeluarkan kekuatan yg sangat keren dipadukan koreografi yg sangat smooth

This is more like it, the series is finally playing in its strength. The fight was the best one they had so far in terms of animation and character building. The tease they had in the previous episode paid in dividends right here. It also seems like they will be having this quality of production at certain intervals at the anime's runtime. No complaints here, really can't wait to see where this all leads to. Hope it ramains consistent all throughout.
