HMMM FORESHADOWING PERHAPS?

Episode Context

Coming off the easygoing 'Jelly / Canelé' in Episode 15, this installment functions as a standalone tonal curveball that injects suspense into the season's otherwise gentle rhythm. It doesn't kick off a multi-episode arc but instead deepens the world by showing that Chiikawa's universe has genuinely threatening edges beneath its softness. Subsequent episodes return to the show's characteristic warmth, making this a memorable one-off that enriches the broader seasonal experience.
