EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

As the series premiere, 'Hard Pudding / Pancakes' exists purely to establish the world, the core duo of Chiikawa and Usagi, and the tonal baseline, easygoing slice-of-life vignettes with a slightly surreal edge. No prior context is needed; this is the entry point. Subsequent episodes build on this foundation by expanding the cast and introducing new scenarios, but the gentle, episodic structure established here remains the series' backbone throughout.
