I enjoyed how we get snippets (And hopefully more to come) of the first years. Their karuta journey and how they feel during a match. Not only that, but the call back to the first season was great too, making the story feels more connected. And I do like Komano's character here.

Chihaya and the gang are gearing up for a big competition, and the hype is building. There is a small annoying moment from a newbie, but it gets handled quickly. The tension is not too intense yet, still focusing more on character build up. Keeping me hooked!
